Welcome Parents and Students,
I hope you find the posting of grades on the Sulphur High School websites useful in helping you monitor performance and progress in the classes.
This is my 22nd year to teach Gifted classes at Sulphur High School. Over those years, I have taught various SPARK courses, including biology, algebra I, algebra II, geometry, and precalculus.
During the 2006-2007 school year, I will be teaching Gifted Geometry and Algebra I on the Sulphur High 9th Grade Campus in the morning and Gifted Precalculus and Algebra II on the SHS Main Campus in the afternoon. You can reach me by leaving a message with either office. The phone number at the 9th Grade Campus is 527-9100 and the two numbers at the main campus are 527-6679 and 527-5145. My e-mail address is darlyne.allain@cpsb.org. Please contact me if you have questions or your student is having problems.
The success of the students in my classes is very important to me. My goal as their teacher is to provide an excellent mathematic foundation for any future endeavors.
I do not have the daily assignments posted on this website. Each student enrolled in one of my courses is required to maintain an Assignment Sheet for that class. This practice in recording assignments as they are issued helps the student develop organizational skills. It also encourages them to take responsibility for their work.
Please contact me whenever you have any concerns or questions.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Darlyne Allain
